The new “en.lightened learning” portal will be used a tool to engage with policymakers, government officials and teams implementing efficient lighting initiatives in countries to strengthen capacities for achieving a transition to efficient lighting. This valuable resource will include technical assistance by top efficient lighting experts to respond to countries’ questions and requirements provide direct technical guidance for the development of efficient lighting actions in individual countries.

The site will highlight available resources to provide visitors with ease of access to pertinent information such as the en.lighten Country Lighting Assessments (CLAs) and the Global Policy Map. The new “Achieving the Transition to Energy Efficient Lighting” Toolkit will be a core component of this online learning site. Currently a PDF document, this will be transformed into a navigable, searchable, downloadable online resource.

A series of informational and practical webinars on relevant lighting topics will also be included. The first webinar scheduled will review the new en.lighten Toolkit and will be held in mid-September.
